The Importance of Separators
Separators are specifically designed for oil-flooded rotary air compressors. Most of the air and oil separates automatically in the separator tank. The role of the separator is to help ensure that all oil particles are removed from the discharge air before continuing downstream. This allows the air quality to stay intact and free of oil which is kept in the separator tank for re-use.The result is reduced carryover and less need for additional system fluid.

O Types of Separators
Most of our standard wrap separators are designed for outside to inside flow,and are made of bright,galvanized steel for corrosion resistance. Spin-on separators are manufactured to allow for simple and quick replacement, without dismantling the compressor.
O Construction and Service Life
With proper use and regular scheduled air filter changes and using proper lubricants, our separators have been proven to be reliable for up to several thousand hours on average. Separators should be changed when a differential pressure of 1.0 bar(14.5PSI) is indicated.
